Ethically & Consciously Crafted

100% RECYCLED METALS

We are committed to responsible sourcing. In fact, we’re passionate about it. That is why all our metals are 100% recycled. By using recycled metals in our creations, our aim is to avoid large gold mines where working conditions and environmental policies aren’t often up to the standards we’d like them to be.

How do we source 100% recycled metals right now?
For now, the metals we use is sourced from both industry and used jewellery. This is then melted down to its purest state and repurposed to create beautifully crafted jewellery.

Using recycled gold, platinum & silver is the best way to ensure our creations are ethical, sustainable, and provide peace of mind, which we can then pass on to you.

How will we source 100% recycled metals in the future?
In future, as we increase the scale of our business, we aim to source our metals directly from small individual miners to create a positive impact for them and their communities.

Ethically Grown Diamonds And Semi-Precious Gemstones

The diamond industry faces two key issues: ethical sourcing and ethical polishing. Ethical sourcing is related to blood diamonds. Ethical polishing is to do with working conditions, fair pay, and the health and safety of diamond and gemstone polishers.

Since ethical sourcing is a global challenge, the United Nations has made various attempts to solve the blood diamond issue. However it has failed to succeed so far with the Kimberley certification scheme, but the work to resolve the issue continues.

That's why we decided to the most ethical alternative: lab-grown diamonds. We work with the most advanced technologies and the most skilled scientists to grow our diamonds, which are physically, chemically and visually identical to the man-mined diamonds.

Lab-grown diamonds are ethical, fairly priced and conflict-free, which makes them perfect for SACET.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

Our goal is to ensure that all the materials we use, from the paper we use in our office to the packaging used to send your jewellery, is eco-friendly. We are proud to tell you that the boxes we ship our deliveries in are produced using sturdy and secure recycled material.

How do we use eco-friendly packaging right now?
As of now, we use the following eco-friendly materials in our packaging:

1. Brown mailing boxes: 100% recycled material.
2. White outer box: FSC recycled cardboard and FSC recycled paper.
3. Jewellery box: FSC recycled cardboard and FSC recycled paper.
4. Jewellery bag: bags for life – made with cotton.
5. Cards, invoices, shredded paper etc.: 100% recycled paper.

How will we use eco-friendly packaging in the future?
In the future, we would like to improve everything that we use – from furniture to paper in order to progress our journey towards sustainability.

Artisan Workshop

Globally, with time, workshops have slowly turned into factories for mass production with a focus on profits alone, ignoring the art and craft. We would like to bring back the artisan culture. As important as the jewellery itself, it’s essential to create a beautiful piece of craft in an environment, which is conducive to cultivate the craft.

What are we doing about artisan workshops right now?
Right now, we are building an artisan workshop. Here, every piece of jewellery will be hand-finished by trained craftspeople, using years of knowledge and skills that have often been passed down from generation to generation, to create our intricate designs.

Jewellery is a people business. That is why we rely on the feedback of our artisans as much as our designers and customers, helping to ensure you receive a product of excellent quality every time.

What will be doing about artisan workshops in the future?
In the future, we aim is to build multiple workshops across the world to support local communities, and, in time, get better in building workshops that can inspire and preserve local art and craft.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Our aim is to become the first 100% carbon neutral jewellery-making workshop. We have already taken significant steps towards our goal and are confident we shall achieve our aim in the near future.

For now, we will be installing solar panels to power a large portion of our workshop with solar energy. The workshop has been designed and constructed with a view to minimising our energy requirement.
